The 3-D Tinkercad design of your colony or rover must be based on issues that will need overcome in order for the mission to be successful. Use the Day 1 handout and the sites below to assist you.

Three Possible Science Objectives for your Colony or Rover:
Volcanoes: What types of volcanoes are on Mars? When/how often did they erupt? How have the volcanoes been eroded by wind or water? Did the lava from Martian volcanoes mix with water?
Plains: Were the northern plains on Mars once a huge ocean? Why is the northern hemisphere of Mars so smooth and flat, while the southern is co cratered?
Polar Caps: What are ice caps on Mars made of? How do the ice caps change throughout the year? What are the dark lands/ features see on Martian ice caps?

Should I do more than this? Absolutely! Feel free to add more to your design or redesign parts to make them more advanced.
You must have:
- An advanced design beyond basic shapes.
- Design has incorporated researched science knowledge about Mars' challenges.
- A typed paragraph using Microsoft word explains each feature of the Rover, Spaceship, or colony and the reason and/or science of why it is part of the design. You must include important science details that led to your design features.
- Create the other item to have a complete mission.
